As a Design Engineer at Cascade Designs, I led the development of next-generation products for the renowned Thermarest and MSR brands. My work focused on creating innovative solutions that enhanced product performance and user experience.

Key Contributions:

Product Design and Development: Spearheaded the design of next-generation products for the Thermarest family, including the development of the NeoLoft mattress. My designs focused on improving comfort and functionality, setting new standards for the brand.
Collaboration and Problem Solving: Worked closely with the supply chain team to address and resolve complex issues related to our foam mattress products. I collaborated with the testing team to extensively characterize new foams, ensuring they met our rigorous technical standards.
Prototyping and Supplier Coordination: Utilized a variety of rapid prototyping techniques to iterate and refine product designs. I also worked closely with overseas suppliers to ensure seamless production and quality control.
Industry Engagement: Attended trade shows to stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, ensuring our products remained competitive and cutting-edge.
Technical Expertise: Employed Solidworks to create detailed and precise product designs, leveraging my technical skills to bring innovative concepts to life.
